Electronic logging for geocaches
This app is used to log geocaches that provide the feature of electronic logging. The logging is done by scanning a QR code that is in the geocache container and sending a SMS to the owner of the geocache. An entry in the paper log book is not necessary any more. Usage: Start the app so that it has enough time to obtain a GPS fix. Find a geocache which provides the feature of an electronic log book. Scan the QR code that is somewhere in the geocache container by pressing "Scan QR". You should see the data of the geocache when the scan is successful. Now enter your username, password and log entry. Log the geocache by pressing "Log GC". After this an SMS will be sent to the owner of the geocache and your log text will appear on the website.
In order to create an electronic log book for geocaches owned by you, you need the app GC-Codec and a QR code generator.
